Sakimoto, the new upscale sushi restaurant and bar that opened in Walnut Creek's Broadway Plaza last month, has a serious Japanese garden theme going on. Artificial cherry blossoms dangle from the ceilings, and wall-sized screens display footage of the iconic, billowy trees, bathing the dining room in pinks and purples.
